Cassidy Coates Price, P.A. is pleased to announce that attorney Taylor McGee Campbell has joined the firm as an associate in the Litigation practice group. Taylor’s practice focuses on medical malpractice defense and general civil litigation.

Taylor earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2024 and brings with her a distinguished academic and leadership background. While in law school, she served as President of the Health Law Society, Vice President and Secretary of the First Generation Law Student Association, and held leadership roles in several other organizations. Taylor was also inducted into the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society and earned the CALI Award for Advanced Legal Writing in Civil Litigation Drafting.

Beyond her legal work, Taylor is actively involved in community service and church activities. She has volunteered with organizations such as Operation Christmas Child, the American Red Cross, and Front Porch Housing. She is also involved in Newspring Church Greenville, where she serves on the Worship Team and participates in student ministry.

Taylor is admitted to practice in South Carolina and is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and the Greenville County Bar Association. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Emmanuel University, earned in 2021.

Cassidy Coates Price, P.A. is pleased to announce that attorney Henry Fair has joined the firm as an associate in the real estate practice group. Henry brings experience in complex real estate transactions, making him a valuable addition to the firm’s legal team.

Henry focuses his practice on guiding clients through a range of real estate matters, including commercial property purchases, refinancing, land development projects, and commercial leasing. He also advises on land use and zoning, multifamily and affordable housing issues, and commercial title insurance. Additionally, Henry has worked with lenders on commercial finance matters and provided counsel for hospitality projects.

A graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law, Henry was recognized on the President’s List and Dean’s List for his academic excellence. Prior to entering private practice, he clerked for the South Carolina Senate Judiciary Committee and the Fifth Circuit Solicitor’s Office. He earned his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida, where he was a Wayne Reitz Scholar.

Dalton’s hire marks a new era of growth and community engagement as the school celebrates its 50th anniversary.
With over 20 years of experience in community and leadership development, non-profit management, and media relations, Dalton brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for fostering connections.
Her background includes serving as Director of Community and Leadership Development for the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce, spearheading the redevelopment of Leadership Athens (now L.E.A.D. Athens), and leading development for the Athens Technical College Foundation. Additionally, Dalton hosted and produced “LizTalk,” a radio show where she interviewed over 6,000 individuals.
As the Fine Arts Center marks 50 years of providing premier arts education to the Upstate, Dalton’s leadership will continue to elevate the organization’s impact and visibility. Her role will focus on strengthening relationships with community partners, enhancing fundraising efforts, and driving strategic initiatives to support the school’s continued growth and success.

Rebuild Upstate

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Rebuild Upstate has elected new board officers and members for the upcoming year.

The new officers are Kathy Hodges as board chair; Rob Schmidt as vice-chair and governance chair, Nick Smith as finance chair, and Lura Godfrey as the engagement chair. All four team members have been actively working and volunteering throughout the Upstate communities for multiple years and will bring that experience to their new roles.

Hodges is the Managing Attorney of local law office Law Offices of Kathleen Hodges. Schmidt is a Shareholder & Director of Furman Capital Advisors. Smith is a mortgage banker at First Palmetto Bank. Godfrey is the co-owner and priat LMG Architects.

In addition, Rebuild Upstate voted in two new board members Kady Jacobs, owner of Anger Management of the Upstate, and Chris Simcoe, district manager of The Starbucks Coffee Company.

Bank of America names Ellie Perry Market Executive for Upstate South Carolina

Bank of America announced today that Ellie Perry has been named Market Executive for Upstate South Carolina.

In this role, Perry is responsible for helping lead the bank’s local efforts across the Upstate to connect businesses, families and individuals to the banking and investment resources that will help improve their financial lives. Working closely with Stacy Brandon, President, Bank of America Upstate South Carolina, Perry will also oversee community partnerships, sponsorships, and philanthropy.

Upcountry History Museum

The Upcountry History Museum – Greenville County, a Smithsonian Affiliate, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a grant from the South Carolina State Historical Records Advisory Board’s regrant program to help facilitate digitization efforts for the Museum’s oral history program.

Selected as one of nine cultural organizations in South Carolina to receive a grant, the Museum will apply its nearly $4,300.00 grant monies toward digitizing approximately 70 early oral history interviews recorded using obsolete media methods which can no longer be read or heard. A collection of 16 “minidiscs” featuring interviews on textile mill history has been selected as the first consignment to be digitized. Other recordings to be digitized include interviews about Greenville’s Civil Rights Movement; 20th-century wars with World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and Desert Storm/Desert Shield veterans; immigrant experiences; and the COVID pandemic.

As a trusted agent for preserving the history of Upstate South Carolina, the Museum is dedicated to ensuring that the significance of that history and the lessons learned have a positive impact and are recorded with accuracy and integrity.

The South Carolina State Historical Records Advisory Board is an active and effective agent for the preservation of wider public access to South Carolina’s historical records. It fosters and supports communication and collaboration, as well as plays the roles of educator, advocate, promoter, planner, and coordinator.
