Countybank Foundation, on behalf of Countybank and Greenwood Capital, has established a new scholarship at Tri-County Technical College to support local students pursuing careers in business.
The scholarship will award $1,000 annually to a Tri-County Technical College student who resides in Anderson County and is enrolled as a business major.
“Tri-County Technical College is such an important resource for our community,” said William Coxe, Private Client Advisor for Greenwood Capital. “By providing accessible education and hands-on training, Tri-County not only supports students but strengthens our economy by helping to build a strong workforce right here in the Upstate. This scholarship will help further those goals, and we’re honored to help make a difference for local business students.”
“Countybank Foundation is proud to support students at TCTC,” said Mike Morris, Senior Commercial Relationship Manager for Countybank. “I’ve seen first-hand the great job TCTC does in preparing students for better career opportunities. We’re so fortunate to have TCTC and their students in our community.”
