Greenville, S.C. (Feb 16, 2026) – The Barbara Stone Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on creating and supporting visionary programs for individuals with disabilities, is hosting Barbara’s Birthday Bash to honor the life and legacy of Greenville’s first champion for individuals with disabilities. Barbara’s Birthday Bash will raise money for the Barbara Stone Foundation, which Stone started in 1991, allowing the Foundation to continue its work identifying gaps in services, investing in or creating innovative programs and leveraging partnerships in the community.
The fourth annual Barbara’s Birthday Bash will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Theodore Hellenic Center at 402 N. Academy, Greenville. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Single tickets are $90, couple tickets are $160, and admission includes open bar, heavy appetizers and live music from TJ Jones and Trey Francis’ Full Band. Tickets are available at barbarastonefoundation.org, and proceeds benefit Barbara Stone Foundation’s programs and initiatives. Guests can bid on a variety of one-of-a-kind items during a live auction.
“Barbara Stone served as a champion for individuals with disabilities, and the Barbara Stone Foundation strives to continue her legacy through our work,” said Lara Ceisel, Executive Director of the Barbara Stone Foundation. “Birthday Bash is a wonderful event to celebrate how Barbara impacted our community and helps the foundation raise important funds to better serve as a champion and fierce advocate for individuals with disabilities in all areas of their lives.”
