Countybank announced that Spain Vaughan has joined Countybank Mortgage as a Mortgage Loan Officer. Countybank Mortgage was recently named Best Mortgage Lending Company in the 2026 Best of the Upstate Community’s Choice Awards.
Vaughan joined Countybank in January 2026 as a part-time Loan Officer Assistant while completing his Master of Business Administration from Anderson University. Following graduation, he transitioned into a full-time Mortgage Loan Officer role, serving clients throughout Anderson, Greenville, Greer, and beyond.
As part of the Countybank Mortgage team, Vaughan will help individuals and families navigate the homebuying process by identifying lending solutions that fit their needs and financial goals while providing personalized service throughout the mortgage process. Vaughan is especially passionate about serving first time homebuyers, offering clear communication and honest guidance from start to finish. He will also support Countybank Mortgage’s continued growth in Anderson, where he established strong community connections during his time at Anderson University.

Vaughan earned both his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Master of Business Administration from Anderson University. He resides in Greenville with his wife, where they are actively involved in Upstate Church Five Forks. In his free time, Vaughan enjoys running, exercising, attending college sporting events, and spending time at the beach.
