The Fine Arts Center is pleased to announce Elizabeth Dalton as the new Executive Director of the Fine Arts Center Partners, the nonprofit dedicated to supporting and promoting the Fine Arts Center. Dalton’s hire marks a new era of growth and community engagement as the school celebrates its 50th anniversary.
With over 20 years of experience in community and leadership development, non-profit management, and media relations, Dalton brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for fostering connections.
Her background includes serving as Director of Community and Leadership Development for the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce, spearheading the redevelopment of Leadership Athens (now L.E.A.D. Athens), and leading development for the Athens Technical College Foundation. Additionally, Dalton hosted and produced “LizTalk,” a radio show where she interviewed over 6,000 individuals.
As the Fine Arts Center marks 50 years of providing premier arts education to the Upstate, Dalton’s leadership will continue to elevate the organization’s impact and visibility. Her role will focus on strengthening relationships with community partners, enhancing fundraising efforts, and driving strategic initiatives to support the school’s continued growth and success.
