Two videos produced by and about the South Carolina Technology & Aviation Center (SCTAC) in Greenville took home top honors in the 2024 Southern Economic Development Council (SEDC) Communications Awards.
Presented July 29 in Savannah, Georgia at the SEDC Annual Conference, SCTAC’s “Automotive” video won Best in Show for the entire competition, beating out all entries across 20 award categories. SCTAC’s “Advanced Manufacturing” video was named winner of the Large Organization division.
The videos were produced by SCTAC for a multi-media awareness campaign currently underway and are featured on various social media platforms.
According to Matthew Darius, SEDC Director of Operations, SCTAC’s work “stood out in a highly competitive field, showcasing exceptional creativity, innovation, and impact.”
The video production team was led by Atticus Creative.
SEDC is North America’s oldest and largest regional economic development association representing 17 southern states and 1,200 member organizations.
