GREENVILLE, SC (December 1, 2025) – Don’t miss your chance to save on tickets for Holiday Fair benefitting the Rotary Club of Greenville, Greenville’s largest winter festival, running from Thursday, December 4th through Sunday, December 7th. Early bird pricing ends soon; starting on December 4th, all ticket prices will increase by $5.

The holiday extravaganza will attract thousands of local and out-of-town visitors and will build on holiday traditions of the past while offering new elements that create memories for the future. Attendees will enjoy more than 500 vendor booths, featuring one-of-a-kind gifts, decorations, accessories and more, an indoor snowball arena, SC’s largest modular train layout, North Pole kid’s play area, visits with Santa and tastings from local favorites Six & Twenty Distillery and Methodical Coffee.

Proceeds of Holiday Fair benefit Rotary Charities, the philanthropic arm of the Rotary Club of Greenville, which seeks ways to make meaningful, sustained differences in the quality of life of the citizens of Greenville County.

Early bird tickets are available for $10 for adults and $9 for seniors (60+) through December 3rd. Beginning December 4th, ticket prices will rise to $15 and $14. Children two and under are free.

Everything Belongs: Josh Jensen Solo Exhibition
January 6 – 31, 2026

[GREENVILLE, S.C.] – Art & Light Gallery is happy to present “Everything Belongs”, an exhibition of work by Josh Jensen (Charlotte, N.C.) launching on the Art & Light website and in the gallery at 10:00 AM (EST) on Tuesday, January 6 with an opening reception on Friday, January 9 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.

Josh Jensen is an abstract painter whose work has evolved from figurative oil to mixed media painting focused on color and movement, informed by his career as a marriage and family therapist. Jensen finds that his work as a psychotherapist influences his artistic process by making him focus on a balance between chaos and order, spontaneity and intention. His painting involves a balance of intuitive exploration and intentional application as he aims to create pieces that are both aesthetically pleasing and meaningful. In his current painting practice Josh favors work with acrylics for their vibrant colors and versatile flow.

In Everything Belongs, Jensen invites viewers to see beauty in the process of accepting imperfection. He states, “Drawing on both jazz improvisation and biblical imagery, my work suggests that our mistakes are raw material for grace. My creative goal is to embrace the inevitability of error and transform it, trusting that what is most human in art is often what is most flawed and also most alive. Each piece captures the quiet revelation that nothing, no color, no moment, no story, is ever truly wasted.”

Once the predominant color relationships and overall composition of a painting begin to emerge, Jensen interacts with the medium more intentionally and with more control while trying to remain faithful to the spontaneous beginning stages of the work. As a painter, Josh seeks to strike a balance between open ended exploration, allowing accidents to emerge, while using formal technique and design elements to find command in the process.

Greenville, S.C. — Dr. Luke Henry, the South Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners’ 4th Congressional District Representative, recently traveled to the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, to serve as an examiner for Part IV of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE).
In this national role, Dr. Henry assisted in evaluating senior chiropractic students and recent graduates who are working towards professional licensure. This practical examination includes history and physical examination and chiropractic technique. Dr. Henry was proud to serve in public protection and was honored to represent South Carolina on the national stage, promoting excellence in patient care for future chiropractic physicians.
Dr. Henry is recognized nationwide for his expertise in nonsurgical spinal decompression and frequently speaks at professional conferences and educational events. His final speaking engagement of the year will take place on December 4, 2025 in Nashville, where he will continue sharing insights on evidence-based approaches to spinal decompression and cold laser therapy. Dr. Henry practices at 1314 Pelham Road in Greenville, with practice emphasis on acute and chronic spine pain.

Jasmine Road and Jasmine Kitchen announce a transformative gift from founder and visionary, Kathryn Norwood. This October, Kathryn and husband Ben Norwood generously donated the property at 503 Augusta Street, along with additional surrounding land, advancing the mission of creating safe housing and economic mobility opportunities for women survivors of sex trafficking, prostitution, and addiction.
“I am hopeful that this gift will ensure the sustainability of Jasmine Kitchen by providing an affordable permanent home for the social enterprise business and will allow current and future leaders agency over how to best grow the organization to create more opportunities for education, employment, job training and professional development for residents and graduates of Jasmine Road,” said Kathryn.
Kathryn’s leadership and generosity have shaped Jasmine Road since its inception. As the organization’s first board chair, she helped establish a sustainable model of hope and healing in Greenville. She also envisioned the first ‘Rooted in Love luncheon’, now a beloved annual event celebrating the women served by Jasmine Road.
Recognizing the need for a social enterprise to support the mission and provide survivors with employment opportunities, Kathryn purchased and combined three separate properties to create the site that would become Jasmine Kitchen. She enlisted restaurateur Kevin Feeny to advise on the restaurant’s launch and rallied the community to bring the vision to life. Kathryn infused Jasmine Kitchen with best practices, deep insight, and contagious passion.
Kathryn served as General Manager for three years, mentoring survivors and equipping staff for long-term leadership, and continues to champion the mission she helped build.

The Greenville Chamber Board of Directors approved its 2026 board slate and appointed Mike Sarvis as chair-elect.

Michelle Seaver, United Community President of Greenville, Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties, will serve as Board Chair in 2026. Mike Sarvis will take over the highest volunteer leadership role for the Greenville Chamber in 2027.

Mike Sarvis is the Upstate Market Executive at Carter Bank & Trust. Before joining Carter Bank & Trust in August 2025, he served as Market President for First National Bank. A 36-year banking veteran, Mike began his career in Greenville and has held leadership roles across the Southeast. He is a graduate of Clemson University, The Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Georgetown University, Leadership Greenville Class 26, and Leadership South Carolina ’25. Mike first joined the Greenville Chamber board in 2021.

According to Mike, “It is a sincere honor to be named Chair-Elect of the Greenville Chamber Board of Directors.
