August 25th to the 29th, Relax The Back on Woodruff Road, Greenville will be celebrating 25 years in the Tri-State area with a major celebration. Relax The Back has been a mainstay in the Tri-State area for 25 years and Ashley Puleo, owner, is proud to run a locally owned and operated small business that has survived through all the economic highs and lows.
“Many of our clients have become friends and we know them by name. The staff understands and embraces the philosophy that the relationship comes first. We love being a member of the local business community, partnering with medical professionals, and most importantly, improving the health and wellness of the clients we serve,” says Ashley.
Relax The Back is the largest specialty retailer of ergonomic products to prevent and relieve back and neck pain. They provide a unique experience using a holistic approach to the 6 categories of spinal health: sleep, recliners, and massage, fitness, and office products. Consultants are trained in the common back and neck disorders that people deal with, and many medical professionals see Relax The Back as a resource for continued care for their patients.

“I think that many of us are aware of the effects on our bodies from poor posture but not many of us recognize that it can be the result of our furniture or even our beds. The things we do every day with little recognition or thought, can be detrimental. I love showing a slight change and seeing that ah-ha moment in my customers faces as they feel the difference,” says Ashley. “I had heard the commercials before I was even involved with the business ‘Can a chair really change your life? Yes, it can!’ but I love it when a customer sticks their head in the door and exclaims to us – that chair changed my life! Smiles for miles from me.”
