Design Elite Architecture, an upstate firm renowned for high-end residential design, has been honored with an American Residential Design Award (ARDA)for a recently completed renovation at Lake Keowee.
Nestled in one of the earliest subdivisions along Lake Keowee, the property was selected for its untapped potential and breathtaking lake views. The original structure, though dated, offered a unique opportunity for transformation. Reimagined as a family retreat, the transformation was extensive, retaining only a fraction of the original structure. Design Elite redefined the space with an open floor plan, expanding the footprint to accommodate lavish, hotel-like bedrooms, expansive outdoor living areas, and a state-of-the-art kitchen. The
home now embodies modern luxury, harmoniously integrated into the serene lakeside setting.
The American Residential Design Awards (ARDA), the premier award program by the American Institute of Building Design, recognized this project for its design excellence. ARDA showcases the nation’s most creative and innovative residential designers, builders, remodelers, architects, developers, land planners, and interior designers. The awards program honors exceptional design in various categories, including custom, builder models, pre-drawn, multifamily homes, remodeling, working drawings, and projects “on the boards.” As a leader in home design recognition, ARDA also includes categories
in green building, outdoor living, and accessible living.
