BEECH MOUNTAIN, NC – Tickets for the annual Autumn at Oz Festival are 70% sold out for the 2024 season.
Autumn at Oz runs for three weekends each September to offer guests the chance to walk the Yellow Brick Road, watch live performances of MGM’s The Wizard of Oz, and meet characters from L. Frank Baum’s iconic novel, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. This year, the park looks forward to celebrating the 85th anniversary of the The Wizard of Oz movie.
The Land of Oz Theme Park in Beech Mountain, North Carolina, has been a beloved destination by families, theater fanatics, nature lovers, and travel enthusiasts since the 1970s.
After closing for several years in the 1980s, the park began hosting the annual Autumn at Oz event each fall, celebrating the festival’s 30th anniversary in 2023.
The festival offers something for everyone, including live performances & meet-and-greets with Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, Wicked Witch, and more on the Yellow Brick Road, a chair lift ride to Oz, food and craft vendors, official Land of Oz souvenirs and Wizard of Oz memorabilia, face painting, breathtaking views from the top of Beech Mountain, North Carolina, showcasing 7 local states, and more.
