Medicinal Whiskey Charity, an organization founded by local bourbon enthusiasts to help fight childhood illness, presented a total of $150,000 to Clement’s Kindness Fund for the Children and Prisma Health Children’s Hospital BI-LO Charities Children’s Cancer Center at a recent check presentation event. Funds were raised during the organization’s Kentucky Derby Party event held Saturday, May 4th, 2024. The event, presented by Bardstown Bourbon Company, featured a viewing of the Kentucky Derby, bourbon tasting, and a performance by The Dirty Guv’nahs at Revel Event Center.
Since its founding in 2021, Medicinal Whiskey Charity has donated over $1,000,000 to medical charities that directly support patients and their families. Through partnerships with Clement’s Kindness Fund for the Children and Prisma Health Children’s Hospital BI-LO Charities Children’s Cancer Center, Medicinal Whiskey Charity is able to address continued needs in the Greenville area by providing medical, psychological, social, emotional, and financial needs of Upstate families impacted by pediatric cancer and other serious blood disorders.
