Community Nonprofits Unite for “Together in Community” Rally
at Unity Park
A Family-Friendly Day of Action and Connection in the Heart of
Greenville
Greenville, SC — In coordination with 50501Upstate and the Upstate
Progressive Coalition, the Together in Community Rally on April 19th is
bringing families, neighbors, and changemakers together for a joyful day
of unity, connection, and action.
Held at Unity Park on the Michelin Green, the rally invites community
members to celebrate shared values, apamplify grassroots voices, and
build momentum for meaningful local change.
Organized by a 50501 Upstate and introducing the Upstate
Progressive Coalition –an alliance of six greater Greenville organizations
including Indivisible Upstate, We the People Greenville, Our
Revolution Greenville, Together Greenville, Tell Them Tuesday,
and Democratic Women of Greenville County—the rally will feature
uplifting speakers, live music, and opportunities to get involved in local
initiatives.
Event Highlights Include:
· Inspiring messages from community leaders and activists across
the Upstate
· Live performances from local musicians
· A volunteer and information station to help attendees plug into
the movement
· A donation station hosted by Indivisible Upstate, benefiting
Upstate Food Not Bombs (donation needs list available)
· A strong spirit of hope, unity, and collective power
Immediately following the rally, supporters are invited to gather at
Carolina Bauernhaus for a special benefit event supporting grassroots
mutual aid efforts.
